rtylr
The rtylr workspace

Work, finance, customers, team, operations, sales and insights share the same records, so nothing gets typed twice and nothing falls between tools.

Work

Boards, lists, timelines and calendars for every team, all on the same data underneath.

  • Views for every team. Board, list, timeline or calendar. Each team picks its view; the data stays the same.
  • Tasks that link to reality. Attach a task to a customer, a supplier, an invoice or a shift. When it moves, everything updates.
  • Automations built in. When a purchase order is approved, a task lands on purchasing. When payroll closes, HR gets a reminder.
Finance

Invoices, expenses, tax and a live P&L, fed by everything else in the workspace.

  • Invoices that collect themselves. Recurring schedules, automatic reminders and one-click payment. Paid invoices reconcile against the books.
  • Expenses captured at source. Snap the receipt, categorise it by policy, and take it from approved to paid in the same place.
  • A live P&L. Every sale, invoice and payroll run rolls into the profit-and-loss as it happens, not at month-end.
  • Tax without the scramble. Jurisdiction-aware sales tax, quarter-end snapshots and one export for your accountant.
Customers

Profiles, segments, loyalty and campaigns, updated by every sale and conversation.

  • Segments that make sense. Slice by visit frequency, average spend or last order, save it, and send a campaign.
  • Loyalty built in. Points, tiers and rewards, applied automatically at checkout.
  • Messages that read personal. Email and SMS templates with personalisation, sent on triggers like a birthday, a lapse or a first visit.
Team

Schedules, time, payroll and time off in one place, with permissions for who sees what.

  • Schedules that publish themselves. Drag, drop, publish. People are notified the moment a shift posts, and conflicts are caught first.
  • Time and attendance. Clock in with a PIN or a geofence, with rounding and break rules built in.
  • Payroll from real hours. Hours, tips, deductions and taxes roll up automatically, with pay stubs for everyone.
  • Time off, clearly. Requests, approvals and balances in one place.
Operations

Inventory, purchasing and transfers that move as you sell.

  • Every item, every variant. Real-time counts as sales happen, down to the component.
  • Suppliers and purchase orders. Reorder at a threshold, compare supplier prices and track arrivals line by line.
  • Multi-location transfers. Move stock between sites with a full audit trail.
  • Low-stock alerts. Thresholds based on how fast things sell, routed to the right person.
Sales

A point of sale that updates stock, revenue and the customer the moment a sale goes through.

  • Every payment method. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash, gift cards and house accounts on one register.
  • Splits, tabs and tips. Split by item or seat, run tabs, and send tips straight to payroll.
  • Works offline. Sales queue locally when the internet drops and sync the moment it's back.
Insights

Revenue, customers and margins across the whole workspace, with Caret on hand to explain what changed.

  • One view of the business. Sales, costs, people and customers side by side, without exporting anything.
  • Ask instead of digging. Ask Caret why a number moved and get an answer from your own records.
  • Live, not nightly. Numbers update as the business runs, not after an overnight sync.
Connected

Every part of rtylr reads and writes the same records, so a change in one place reaches the rest the moment it happens. No exports, no copy-paste.

Questions about the workspace

How the parts fit together, and what they handle.

Can I use only part of the workspace?

Yes. Start with the area that matters most to your business and add the rest when you need it. Everything stays in one workspace on the same records, with no separate logins or exports.

What can the workspace do that separate tools cannot?

Assign a task to a staff member who already exists in HR, attach it to a customer who already exists in CRM, and push billable hours onto an invoice in Finance, without copying anything between tools. The tasks, boards, comments and automations you would expect are all there; the connection to real business records is the part a separate tracker cannot have.

Does checkout work offline?

Yes. rtylr POS keeps a full local copy of the menu, modifiers and active orders. When the internet drops, the register keeps taking orders, printing tickets and processing cash. Card transactions queue and settle automatically once the connection returns, so a Saturday night outage does not stop the floor.

Does it support multiple currencies?

Yes. Invoice in any currency, and rtylr converts using the exchange rate at invoice time. P&L reports can be read in any reporting currency, with FX lines shown explicitly rather than folded into the totals.

Does it handle multiple locations?

Yes. Every item can be stocked at multiple locations with per-location counts, reorder thresholds and transfer tracking. A purchase order can be split across warehouses, and staff see only their assigned location by default.
